The main street of the area is Sunset Cliffs Blvd. Ive been surfing out there for years but still dont have all the names and locations straight. The string of great surf breaks along San Diego's 70-plus miles of coastline may be a blessing for seasoned shredders, but there are plenty of spots here that are perfectly suited to first-timers, too. Difficult -- many spots require navigating cliff trails, long walks, and the breaks at the point require boat access. In terms of some of the different breaks found at Sunset Cliffs, you also may want to alternate your board selection. If you are lucky, you may even catch the mysterious Green Flash.
